3. Do you have any New Year's resolutions?  Nope!!!!

4. How did you spend New Year's Eve when you were younger?  I bugged my parents to let me stay up...

5. What was the best way you've ever spent New Year's Eve?  I think I remember having a New Year's Eve party at my house for the youth group...I think, hmmmm  who knows...

Christmas

Sunday, December 12

what's up???

We had Tasha, Phil, Ashleigh, and Justin, and Tamra, Josh, Catie, Emma, Beka, and Nathan over for dinner Friday night.  We had breakfast for dinner...Chocolate chip pancakes (with syrup!  of course), hashbrowns, bacon, eggs, biscuits and gravy, and breakfast burritos.  It was very yummy!!!!  Thanks to Jason, Tamra, Tasha, and Phil for helping me cook!  This was 9 kids in my house...it actually wasn't too bad actually.  I love that all the cousins play so well together! (yes, I forgot to take pictures)

Saturday morning we went to see the Flower Mound Christmas Parade with Tamra and family, and Tasha and family.  Even though we've lived here for almost 11 years its the first time we've ever gone.  The kids all behaved so well and thought that it was the coolest thing that they could just sit on the curb and people would give them candy!!!!  (forgot to take pictures again)

Saturday afternoon we all went over to Tasha's house for a little get-together we had arranged for people to come see Tamra while she is in town.  The kids wore themselves out playing again (the trampoline at Aunt Tasha's house is a big hit!!!).  We got to see some people we hadn't seen in a long time and had a good time remembering when we were all in school.  (and yes, forgot to take pictures again...sue me...)

It's been a busy weekend and looking like it will be a busy week this next week.  Jason will be busy with work and I have 5 shifts scheduled next week.  The kids have school christmas party's on thursday and an early release on friday.  It is hard to believe that Christmas is in 2 weeks...

5 question Friday December 10th

1. Do you open presents on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day?  We open presents Christmas Day.  I usually have to work one or the other (the joys of being a nurse) so Jason, me, and the kids usually do our presents on Christmas day.  Depending on the rest of the family we will go to their house or they will come to ours at some point on Christmas day but due to work schedules (mom is a nurse too) we've also had the big family christmas a week or so after Christmas before.

2. What is your favorite Christmas cookie (or candy)?  I love christmas sugar cookies...I don't really like them the rest of the year but I love them at Christmas :-)  I also really like the soft chewy brach's christmas mint nougat thingies...and the wintergreen ones, and the cinnamon ones :-)

3. What's the worst Christmas gift you've ever received?  pretty much anything that my grandmothers bought me (clothing usually).  Especially when I was 12-16 I really didn't like dressing like a little old lady :-)

4. Christmas song that you love?  My favorite is "The Drummer Boy" bah-rum-pa-pum-pum

5. How many trees do you put up? Usually just one (but it's a nine foot tree!)  Oh, this year we have 2...the second one is a ceramic one that belonged to Jason's grandmother...

Thursday, December 9

Christmas is coming

things are good here...just busy.  Kids are doing well with school and Jason and I are staying busy with work.  We are looking forward to Christmas, the kids are especially excited.  I actually have most of the christmas shopping done...now to just get the tree decorated and presents wrapped!

5 question Friday

Well, our family spent Thanksgiving being sick with some severe sinus gunk.  We got to spend time with mom and dad, Tasha and her family, and Tamra and her family.  The food was great!!!  I just wish we felt better!

1. What is your favorite part of a Thanksgiving meal?  Definitely the turkey...I love turkey, I would eat turkey at least once a week if I could...definitely my favorite!!!!!

2. Are you a host or a guest for Thanksgiving this year? I was a guest...sort of.  Dinner was at mom and dad's this year and mom did the big items and Tasha and I did the fill-in stuff.

3. When you think of one Thanksgiving tradition, what comes to mind?  Eating...pretty much...yeah, eating.

4. You have two pieces of pie in front of you and you HAVE to eat one...do you choose pumpkin or pecan?   Neither....I don't really like pie and definitely not pumpkin or pecan...the only kind of pie I eat is chocolate...and it has to have more cool whip on it than chocolate :-)

5. Are you a Black Friday Shopper? I am this year..I have never been before, I usually work Thanksgiving night so work and sleep during Black Friday.  We left at 3:30 am today and managed to hit Kohl's, Target, Old Navy, Bath and Body Works and were back home by 9am...

Friday, November 19

5 question Friday

1. What Christmas song do you loathe?  I actually love Christmas songs...but the one I prefer less is probably "Chestnuts roasting on an open fire".  I don't know why, it just isn't my favorite :-)

2. Do you and your significant other cuddle at night or sleep on opposite sides of the bed?   We sleep on our own sides...we both prefer different temperatures and prefer our separate sides :-)

3. Have you ever had surgery?  Nope...not looking to have surgery any time soon either!

4. When do you typically have your holiday shopping done?  I usually finish up my shopping on Christmas Eve...I'm hoping that since I've already started shopping this year (I usually start shopping the second week of December...oops) that I'll actually be finished mid December this year.

5. If money were not an issue (and you HAD to pick something), what would your ultimate luxury item be?  Probably the house that I already have designed in my head...stocked with everything I could ever need (with a permanent maid LOL)

Wednesday, November 17

gotta write something....I guess

I had a busy weekend...had a friends birthday party to go to on saturday (Kobe Steak restaurant...yum!!!)  Then another party on Sunday.  Then work Monday and Tuesday, Support Group at work tonight...then I have tomorrow off.  But, not really since I have a mountain of laundry to do :-)  Then I work 5 days in a row so that I can have Thanksgiving off.  I'm not doing much except sleeping and cleaning/laundry and cooking tomorrow.  I will be so ready for my time off.  Of course work is CRAZY BUSY so I will probably be called every day and asked to work :-)  We'll see if I go in or not!

Friday, November 12

5 question Friday!!!

1. What is the most physically painful thing that has ever happened to you?  I guess that I would probably say giving birth...at least up until my epidural kicked in.  With Adreyn the epidural only worked on the left side and I think the labor/birth part was even worse since I was numb on the left and could feel everything on the right.  Really, though, it's like they say...after the baby is born you kinda forget the pain...really, YES, really!!!!

2. How much sleep do you get at night?  HaHaHaHa...very funny.  I work at least 3 (usually 4) 12 hour long night shifts a week...I don't sleep at night.  The only way I sleep at night is to take a medicinal aide to help get to sleep. Usually I don't even get to bed until 3 am or so if I'm not working.  I do sleep great during the day though and if I'm able to sleep in after going to bed at 3am I can usually get around 8 hours...but those 8 hours are catching up on the days I work where I can truthfully say that I get about 3-4 hours in 36-48 hours.

3. How long did you believe in Santa Claus? How did you find out that he does not exist?  I never really believed in Santa Claus.  My parents just made sure that we understood that THEY were Santa claus and that there was an actual reason for the season (the christmas story)

4. What was the last movie you saw in a theater? Um, I think it was  ummm, oh, yeah, that new Katherine Heigl/Josh Duhamel movie with the orphaned baby

5. What do you wear to bed? If I'm cold I'm wearing a longsleeved T-shirt with yoga pants...and sometimes I put my electric throw blanket over me too :-).  If I'm comfortable I'll usually wear a tank top and shorts.  If I'm hot....well, lets just not go there  LOL

Tuesday, November 9

ummmmm,

ok, let's see, what is going on with me?????  (I'm a poet LOL)

I worked Friday, Saturday, and Sunday...spent sunday at work with a HORRIBLE sinus headache (I thought I was gonna die!)  Pretty much overdosed myself on sinus meds and cough meds on monday and slept ALOT and I feel a bit better today.  Today, Jason's car had a flat tire and since he had to work I was left without a car...not a big deal since I didn't really feel like going anywhere anyway.  Tomorrow, I am supposed to have another office day at work followed by NICU Support Group.  But, I don't think I'm gonna do a full office day because I still don't feel too great.  I am looking forward to Support group though...I love that group!  I work Thursday and Friday nights.  Tamra and family come into town on Saturday and Jason and I are going to a birthday party in Dallas that night (Jason's mom is watching the kids for us).  Then Sunday is another busy day...then back to work on Monday and Tuesday.  Sometimes I really wish that life would just SLOW DOWN!!!!  Oh, well, I guess I'll just deal with it as it comes along....

Friday, November 5

5 question Friday

1. If you could have any talent and turn it into an occupation, what would it be?  Oh, something creative...I like to create stuff...then I like to leave it half-done.  Hmmm, guess that wouldn't be great for an occupation since I would never get paid.  Actually, I always thought that if I wasn't a nurse I'd want to be a florist.  I even did all the flowers for our wedding :-)

2. Would you rather have a house at the beach or a cabin in the woods?  Well, I'd love either one really but I think for the long term I would prefer a cabin in the woods...a really nice luxurious cabin with a chef, housekeeper, and nanny!

3. Is there any meaning or reasoning for the names you chose for your child/children?  I picked my kids names making sure that they were NOT named after anyone I knew.  I also didn't want matching initials/names.  My family all have the same initials...growing up we would actually get mail addressed to "The 4 TLH's"!  So, I picked names that I liked the way they sounded with our last name.  I named Adreyn Mikailah because of the way it flows, Tristan Kreig was pretty much the only name we agreed on for a boy, and I loved the name "Rhiannon" and decided to mix it up a bit for Rehanyn Noelle.  Here's an entire post I wrote awhile back about our kids names.

4. What is your guilty pleasure? (I know we've done this one before, but I'm guessing people's "guilty pleasures" change frequently. At least, mine do!) Today?  Probably just taking some time for myself...neglecting the laundry so I can sit and veg, or read.  Also, lately I've been loving getting to save money by using coupons...I love seeing how much I saved!!!!

5. Do you live in a house that is deep cleaned or straightened?  Hahahahahaha!!!!!   My house is "deep cleaned" maybe a couple times a year...otherwise it's just straightened...and sometimes only straightened because people are coming over.  I use my nightshift job as an excuse ***sheepish smile***  Sometimes the excuse actually works...

Tristan's Pokemon pictures :-)

Sunday, October 31

halloween

We spent Saturday afternoon at the Pumpkin Patch with Tasha and her kids.  Tristan loved that they had a section with Pokemon characters...that will be an additional photo post I think.  He was so excited to get his picture taken!!!
Then on Sunday Tasha and her family came to our neighborhood for Trick or Treating.  We had a blast!!!!!!

Tristan as a Bakugan Dragonoid
Adreyn as a Vampire
Adreyn's hair all pulled up...you can barely see the red hairspray in her hair
Rehanyn as Strawberry Shortcake..."dark pink hair, please, mom"
I LOVE the freckles :-)
Another view of Tristan
Adreyn, Tristan, Rehanyn, Ashleigh and Justin at the pumpkin patch

5 question Friday!!!

1. If you could be a fly on any wall, which would you choose?  hmmmm, I'm not sure...I'm not into the whole political thing so that's not an option.  Maybe, it would be good to be a fly on the wall of the hospital CEO's office.  It would be interesting to hear what he thinks on certain things without it all being made "nice" for the staff.

2. Do you budget your Christmas shopping or just get it done without budgeting?  Budgeted...I wish we didn't have to but we do.  This year I've been working extra though to try to help get some extra cash for Christmas.  And I've started coupon shopping so hopefully that would help too.  Happily, I've already started Christmas shopping this year....that is very unusual for me.

3. What is the craziest fad diet you have ever done?  never done one...but I'm thinking about trying the HCG diet...I'm just not sure about eating only 500 calories a day for 23 days...so, I haven't gotten up my nerve to try it...but, I have several friends who have had very good results on it.

4. Is there a TV show that you have seen every episode/season of?  There are several...LOST, Dancing with the Stars, Brothers and Sisters, Criminal Minds, CSI NY, Hell's Kitchen, and many more.  I DVR them and watch them when I have a chance :-)

5. What one song always pulls at your heart?  Somewhere over the Rainbow by Israel Kamakawiwo'ole

Monday, October 25

stuff

stuff is going on...i hope it might get more interesting...it just isn't interesting stuff.  It's life, and work, and just plain stuff...kinda boring stuff.  Without saying too much....work has been kinda sad lately.  I hate that!!!!

I've been working at least 4 shifts a week.  So I'm getting pretty tired.  This week I have 2 night-shifts scheduled and an office day and NICU support group on the same day as the office day., and then a class that starts at 8am on friday after I get off of work at 7am.  Hopefully I can stay awake for the class?!?!?!?!?!?!  But then I actually have a 3 day weekend off.  I am looking forward to that!!!!

Jason is sick...probably a sinus infection caused by allergies but it always hits him pretty hard and makes him feel pretty yucky.  Tristan is starting in with his sinus stuff but overall is doing okay.  Rehanyn has a nice cough but actually didn't need medicine tonight so hopefully that is getting better.  Adreyn is doing good :-)

Tamra and family are coming to the states in 18 days...looking forward to seeing them!!!!

Friday, October 22

5 Question Friday

1. Who is the better cook, you or your spouse?  I would have to say that it is me...I make more homemade comfort food (swiss steak, beef and noodles, tenderloin, roast, pork chops, chicken and noodles, chicken noodle soup, potato soup, etc).  Jason still cooks...in fact he cooks more than me since I work 3-4 nights a week.  He makes dinner for himself and the kids those days, but he has his "go-to" meals...chicken and rice, spaghetti, tacos, homemade pizza, chicken nuggets and fries, etc.  I enjoy cooking...but I hate the mess it makes and I hate the clean up.  But, I've been doing better cleaning up after myself and lately I've been trying out new recipes and found a few I really like (cheeseburger pockets, meatballs, breaded pork chops, salisbury steak {this one needs more work}, etc).  I also enjoy baking, I make/decorate cakes for friends (and I get paid for them!) and I've been making a new recipe that is a big hit...chocolate whoopie pies!

2. How often do you talk to your mom?  I email or facebook my mom more than I "talk" to her.  We both work 12 hour night shifts (we're both nurses) and right now we are on completely opposite schedules so it's kinda hard to connect.  But, I love that she lives less than 10 minutes away and is still always there for me and my family.  I LOVE MY MOM!!!!!

3. Are you adventurous in the kitchen or stick to the recipe?   I use the recipe as a jumping off point.  I don't usually make up my own recipes but I'll take a recipe and tweak it to be better or more to our family's taste.

4. Is your second toe longer than your big toe?  ok, I actually had to look at my feet to figure this out :-)  No, my second toe and big toe are actually the same length. Does it mean something if your second toe is longer than your big toe????

5. Do you dress up for Halloween? (Bonus question: What will you be this year?)  No, I don't dress up for Halloween...mainly because I have no reason to.  I was actually invited to a Halloween party this year and really wanted to go...but, it's on my weekend to work and I won't be able to go.   :-(

Wednesday, October 20

Tristan's Drawing

This is a picture Tristan drew this week...It's the first one where the pictures are actually recognizable.  He is doing so well.  I also love how the person is no longer just a stick person!

He says this is him playing with birds.  There are 3 birds flying around him and a compass rose at the top!

oh, oh, oh!!!!

I'm so proud of myself!  I actually have started Christmas shopping already!!!!!  I've started shopping for the kids already...and I've already bought teacher gifts!  My coupon shopping is paying off!!!!!!!  And I've got all the gifts planned for the cousins...now just to execute those plans!!!!!

weekend

We had fun this past weekend.  Saturday Adreyn got to go to a friend's block party...sounds like it was a great time.  While she was there we took the other 2 to Red Robin for dinner and then went to Walmart.  I found winter coats for the kids for only $14 each!

On Sunday afternoon Adreyn had a birthday skating party to attend so while she was at the party Jason, Tristan, Rehanyn and I went to Main Event and played some arcade games and an hour of bowling.  It was lots of fun.

Since then, I've been working, Jason has been getting sick with allergies, Adreyn has been being lazy with keeping her school stuff organized, Tristan has been doing good at school but dealing with LOTS of allergies, and Rehanyn has been getting in a bit of trouble at home (any ideas for dealing with a child who is hiding food????)

We've been enjoying our family time lately!!!!

Friday, October 15

5 question Friday

1. What is your favorite Halloween candy?  Definitely Rollo's or Charleston chews!

2. Do you fold your socks? Only when there are no longer any pairs left in the dresser drawers and/or the sock basket is full...so about once a month if I have to  :-)

3. What is something that you wish you had been warned about?  I think I would have like to be warned about how the older you get the faster time/life moves.  I remember being in my teens and how a week could take forever.  Now, (no longer in my teens!) a week seems to go by in the space of a few hours!

4. What is the most significant difference between you and your significant other?  He's a pessimist...I'm an optimist.  But this way we get to look at something from both sides.  However, every now and then I do force him to stop looking on the bad side and come over to the good side and take a good long look!!!!

5. What are three words you would use to describe yourself? (And, just for fun...if your significant other is around, ask him/her what 3 words they would use to describe you!!)
1.  Tired...that would be because I work at least 3 12hour night shifts a week (and lately 4-5 shifts a week)  and because I'm a full-time Mommy to 3 kids and a wife to my sweet husband.  But I love all my jobs and wouldn't trade them for anything.
2.  Involved...my husband would say that I'm too involved with work things...but I have cut back on work committments (a bit) to spend more time with the family.
3.  Caring...my job is taking care of babies...really, what could top that???  I love taking care of my tiny patients and I love caring for their parents too!!!

My husbands 3 words to describe me...I had to get him to text me his picks
1. Sweet
2. Compassionate
3. Understanding

Awww, wasn't that sweet?  Of course that is after I told him he had to give me 3 words not a 3 word sentence.  The first 3 words he texted me were "pain in a$$" !!!!  He's so crazy!!!!!

Wednesday, October 13

More free stuff!

This was in the mail today!!!!!

Tuesday, October 12

free stuff for me!

I've been trying to use coupons better and more efficiently.  Still have a long way to go on that though...I need a better organizational system I think.  Anyway, I'm getting better about actually taking the coupons to the store and not leaving them at home.

I've got several new websites linked up on the right side of my page (in the blog list) that I check on each day to see deals or how to stack coupons to get stuff for the least amount of coupons.  The other nice thing is that most of these websites also let you know about free samples.  Here's a couple of pictures of the free samples I've already received (and all I had to do was fill out my address...no credit card or anything)

Plus today I also received a coupon in the mail for a FREE bottle of Advil!

5 question Friday

Questions for Friday, October 8th:

1. What do you listen to while driving?  Well, it depends...in the mornings on the way home from work I listen to the Kidd Kraddick in the Morning show.  Other times I just have on a soft rock station...I just like to have noise in the car when I'm alone...when the kids are with me I keep the radio off and just listen to the "he hit me", "she's in my way", "where are we going", "what are we having for dinner" etc, etc, etc....

2. What is your least favorite thing about Fall?  My least favorite???  That it ends and winter comes.  I love Fall in Texas.  The weather is gorgeous and finally comfortable and it's just plain nice outside.

3. What does your dream house look like, inside and out?  Great question!  I want a house with at least 5 bedrooms (and not little dinky bedrooms either ... at least 12x15 or so), an awesome master suite with a huge bedroom with an attached sitting room, with a huge fireplace.  I want a big fancy master bath with a jacuzzi tub and a large shower, a big walk-in closet at his and her sinks.  I want my kitchen to have lots and lots of cabinets and a huge walk-in pantry.  I want a kids play room that I can close the door on and just block out the mess :-)

4. Would you ever own a minivan? We used to own a minivan...my husband drove it.  I don't necessarily mind minivans...I just would prefer to keep my nice SUV.  I'm only 5'2" so I like being able to be up higher than other people in my SUV.  I am ready to get rid of my surburban though...something a bit smaller would be great!

5. Do you wash new clothes before wearing them? Usually, no...sometimes yes.  It totally depends on how much time I have before I need to wear them :-)

Monday, October 4

State Fair

Just got to the Fair...checking out the water while Daddy buys coupons!

A cool pair of sunglasses!
BIG TEX
TEXAS STAR--We had just finished riding it
Our sweet boy
Our silly oldest
Our goofy baby
A crazy hat at the train station

5 question Friday

I'm linking up to Mama M again :-)

1. Did you have a pen pal when you were little (or now)? Where were/are they from?   No, I don't believe I did...I remember thinking that it would be really cool to have a pen pal...but I know that I would have probably written to them once and then never again...because, that's the way my life works...I know, excuses, excuses :-)

2. If you could do a different job for one day, what would it be?  Well, I LOVE my job and really don't want a different job but I guess if I had to choose....hmmmmm, I guess I would want to be a fancy head chef of a fancy restaurant (but I wouldn't be mean like Gordon Ramsey!)  And if it was just for a day it couldn't be TOO stressful, could it?????

3. Do you remember your biggest fear from when you were little?  I was afraid of our house burning down.  I don't know why but I always had a plan for how to get out of the house safely and had a list of what I would grab to take with me on the way out.  For awhile when I was 10 or 11 the item I would HAVE to grab was the lovely rainbow bed set that mom and dad had gotten for me.  It was under my bed still in it's plastic wrap because we were waiting to put it on the bed until we moved into the new house :-)

4. What do you think is a waste of time? Why? I think it's a waste of time to stress over what people "might" be thinking of you.  If you are always trying to figure out what "they" are thinking you miss out on actually living your life to the fullest.

5. What is the oldest item you have in your closet?  Oh, I know that there are some maternity clothes still back in the back of my closet (that I bought when I was pregnant with my 11 year old).  But, probably the OLDEST is one of my husbands stuffed animals from when he was a little guy...it's a bit the worse for wear!

Thursday, September 30

snacks

Adreyn has to take a snack to school every day.  5th grades don't eat until almost 1pm so they get a snack in the morning.  However, this snack has to be semi-healthy.  Adreyn has taken raisins and goldfish...but the other day she took SunChips and the teacher refused to let her eat them (grrrrr).  So, I've been trying to figure out snacks for her that she likes but are more healthy, but are easy to get to school and can be eaten with her hands.  She loves Gardetto's trail mix (so do I) and Chex mix but that stuff can get really expensive.  So I went looking for recipes and here's what I found and what I've been doing today :-)

And I'm also gonna make this:  Granola for Picky Kids
I just have to get the chex mix out of the oven.

I've already sampled the cracker mix....YUM!!!!
And the Chex mix smells so good!

Monday, September 27

Days off!!!!

I've got 2 days off.  So now I get to be a good wife and mommy.  In the next 2 days I get to:

* go grocery shopping
* cook dinner
* make snacks
* do laundry...started
* dishes...jason is keeping up on this
* do homework with the kids...not much homework this week
* organize my coupon book sorta
* spend time with my honey
* Oh, my favorite!!!  I get to make the last payment on Jason's car!!!!!!

Hopefully, I can get it all done in just a couple days...cause, that's all I have before going back to work for 4 days.  I'm working lots of overtime lately...I'm enjoying the paychecks but missing the time with my family.  It will be nice when work evens out a bit and I can do a couple of weeks without extra shifts.  Of course that probably won't happen until my week off after Thanksgiving.  (I'd like to have the week of Thanksgiving off...but I didn't pick the right career for that...surprisingly enough, hospitals don't close on holidays, and people have babies on holidays. Heehee!)

Saturday, September 25

Ugggg!!!!

Last night just about killed me!!!!  We started with 14 babies, admitted 2, transitioned 1, then I RAN (yes, really, full-out sprinted) to a code alarm delivery, and then got to go to another "get in here right now" delivery.  I haven't had this busy of a night in a while...and I'm more than happy to not have another one for awhile.  The problem is...if my Friday is crazy...usually my Saturday and Sunday are too!!!!  Here's hoping tonight is better!!!!!

5 question Friday

Rules for 5QF: Copy and paste the following questions to your blog post, answer them, then c'mon back (tomorrow morning) to link up!! Feel free to leave your answers in the comments below if you don't have a blog!
1. If you could speak with a different accent, what would it be (i.e Australian, Scottish)?   Probably Australian....its just such a nice accent...plus then I'd sound like my nieces :-)   Although, I really like the Scottish accent too.

2. Can you fall asleep anywhere? (i.e floor, couch, deck)   It depends on how tired I am (and how old I'm getting)  If I'm short on sleep I can fall asleep anywhere, well mostly anywhere.  But if I'm awake and not in a "usual" place to sleep (someone else's house) it makes it very hard to sleep.

3. Do you use public restrooms? If so, do you sit on the toilet?  I use public restrooms only if absolutely necessary (even at work).  I'd prefer to wait until I get home.  Ummm, the second part of the question...why would you want to know that?????

4. If you were stuck in an elevator for 24 hours, what celebrity would you most want to be stuck with?  I don't know that I'd want to be stuck with any celebrity for 24 hours.  But I guess if I had to choose a celebrity, I'd choose between Patrick Swayze, Jennifer Grey, Meg Ryan, and Ryan Reynolds.  But I'd most like 24 hours alone with my husband!!!!!!!

5. Where did you & your significant other go on your 1st date?  Well, the first time we actually went anywhere together as a "couple" (sorta) was when Jason's best friend Colden got a group of us together to "take a walk"  he had somewhere he wanted us to see.  Little did we know (until 1.5 hours later) that the "walk" was a walk entirely across town to go to.....wait for it........Pizza Hut!!!  Then we had the walk back to get to know each other better :-)

Our first real date was to The Mall of America.  It was great fun, we went with a group and managed to get "lost" from the group.
